I think it was simple economics - take out the BL keyboard to get the cost under $999 and keep the margins at 30%.
However, as tech gets more mature, and the R&D Cost is recouped for the new design, I think they can re-add the BL Keyboard w/o sacrificing the $999 Price-point or the 30% margins.
As you said, it wasn't just "for fun", but "for profit" and if they can maintain that profit, and return a marquee feature like the BL Keyboard, why not?

I have a crop camera and I know it is 1.6x factor on EF. therefore a ef 50mm = 80mm.
now here is where I do not understand:
on a EF-S lens is the crop factor still 1.6x the lens value so a ef-s 65mm is really 117mm.
I just trying to understand what the benefit of crop camera lenses are if the lens has the same focal length as a EF lens.

Agreed. A lot of people gave the previous Office crap (and rightfully so), but I've been very impressed with Office '11 and haven't looked back.
Dropped Apple Mail for Outlook, gave up on Pages a long long time ago, and Keynote's a nice toy to play with time to time. Office '11 for Mac is a very impressive showing on Microsoft's part.

Just having beat Portal 2 on my 11" MBA with a 1.6ghz core 2 duo and the 320m, playing it on max settings, native resolution at ~40fps was GREAT.
This isn't possible on the Intel graphics, it'd tip just below smoothly playable at these settings. The CPU is barely a bottleneck, seriously. What other 11" device can run a modern game maxed out?! Thank god for the Source engine, and for Apple's 320M+C2D choice.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to change what you said or anything, I was just using what you said (that the list would become quite long) as a reason for why we should reduce the total amount of articles by merging articles wherever possible.
I'm not sure that reducing category sizes is a good reason to merge articles. We shouldn't do anything that makes it harder to find something within an article once you're there, especially since categories are just one way to find articles - in fact, just 2% of page views in the Guides (of actual content pages, excluding things like the search page) are for viewing one of the root level categories.
They're split off from the main software category because of the perception that a lot of users may not want to look at the Terminal... it does reduce the amount of articles in the main software category.
I wasn't the one who created the Terminal Commands category, but I'd be very surprised if that was the reason it was created. Again, these articles are in a different category because it's a logical grouping - no different to similar categories such as Games and Networking and Internet Software. As someone who uses the Terminal extensively, I find it much more useful this way.

So you'd recommend the PC version over the MAC??
Not at all, can't say I would because the Mac beta was just released. They probably need to fix bugs, and it will run on par with the PC version sooner or later. I'm honestly thrilled the beta is out for Mac now, because regardless of the performance issues, I much rather play the Mac beta, instead of having to boot in Windows just to play it. More than anything, the game bogging down happens when I haven't explored the map, very weird. As long as the area is not shaded, it's all good. Plus, I do play this on 2650x1600 resolution, might go down a notch for the Mac version til they fix this.
It's like xmas this year for Mac! SCII and Steam, yay! Can't wait to play Team Fortress 2, rock on.

Hopefully the next update will resolve some rather annoying bugs. The one that irritates me to no limit is the bug of moving directories off the desktop into other directories.
As soon as I do, all my icons are thrown about on the desktop. Gawd its annoying.

Since Apple's recent acendency in pop culture, even if the marketshare numbers are slightly inflated by PPC Mac users switching to Intel Macs, I doubt this is something that new Apple consumers consider. Rather, all they hear is the press and Apple saying, "our market share has increased" and it somewhat diminishes the notion in their minds that Apple is just too small of a company with too little support for its platform to invest in a Mac.
